Jamshedpur: Rojgar Diwas was organized today under CFT Project at Jamda Panchayat Bhawan in Bhelaidih village under Potka block of East Singhbhum.

Those who were present on the occasion and participated in the programme included mukhiya Sushil Sardar, Panchayat Sewak Sampat Nath Bhuiyan, Rojgar Sewak Tapan Kumar Das, ward member, Gram Pradhan, CFT Team member on behalf of Yuva, Usha Sabina Deogam, Sheetal Hembrom, Dulal Mandal, Uttam Acharjee, technical expert Shankar Kaiborto, all mates and villagers.

The villagers attending the programme were informed about the village-wise schemes approved and they were advised to demand work from all the mates.

A village-wise list of mates was given to the Rojgar Sewak and it was advised that women mates be employed in all the schemes.

Villagers were also advised about the process to open records. It was informed that if the beneficiary is not ST, then it is necessary to obtain BPL number or certificate of marginal farmer and only then would the scheme be approved.

The process of getting new job cards and opening new bank accounts were also described.

After the meeting, two schemes were inaugurated. Construction of 100×100 sq ft pond on the land of Lakhi Sardar in Bhelaidih was started in which 30 workers were employed. Behula Mandal was the mate.

On the other hand construction of a 50×50 square feet pond was also started on the land of Lal Chandra Nayak.
