Arun Kumar and Narsimh Rao win Yuva Annual Day Quiz

Arun Kumar and Narsimh Rao today won the quiz organized by Yuva Jamshedpur today at the Yuva library at Makdampur, Jamshedpur. The team of Sujit and Shashi Kumar was declared the runners.

To mark the Annual Foundation Day of Yuva Jamshedpur, a quiz was organised at the library. The quiz was conducted by Sumit Kumar and Shankaracharya.A number of students from Parsudih area who have passed matriculation and intermediate examinations with first division were also felicitated on the occasion.

Addressing Yuva members and students on the occasion the chief guest and the vice chairman of Zila Parishad, Mrs. Anita Devi, advised all the students to work hard and focus on their studies. She said that if they continue working hard, they would get success.

Social worker Om Prakash Singh said that the very purpose of education is to make a human being a better human being. He said that students should not only focus on securing jobs, but should focus more on creating jobs. He stressed the need to have tenacity to achieve success and to work with single-mindedness.

Earlier, Arbind Tiwary, founder, Yuva, threw light on history and progression of Yuva Jamshedpur as an organization that has made huge difference in the area it works in.

The programme was compered by Narendra Kumar. Those who were present on the occasion included Varun Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Vijay Singh, Devashish Mitra, Amit Kumar, Ved Prakash, Deendayal Dubey, Anil Yadav and Navin Kumar.
