Jamshedpur: A felicitation programme for honouring successful students was organized at Yuva, Jamshedpur library on December 6, 2012. In all five Yuva members who have achieved success in different competitive examinations were felicitated in the programme. The programme was organized with a view to encouraging other Yuva members to get inspired by the success of their peers.Kalicharan, a founder member of Yuva, Jamshedpur, has got selected for Jharkhand Public Service Commission, while Swati Singh has got through the tough recruitment examination of State Bank of India. She would be joining SBI and would be posed in Andhra Pradesh.
On the other hand Jalaj Singh has been successful in the selection test of CISF. Munna Kumar has got through the railway recruitment test, while Vivek Kumar has joined Air Force.
Mrs. Anita Devi, vice chairman, Jila Parishad (District Council) was the chief guest of the programme, while the district councilor Swapan Kumar Majumdar was the guest of honour of the programme.
The leader of Sikshank Sangh, Ramnarayan Singh was also present on the occasion.
All the successful candidates said that they owed their success to the rich Yuva Library which has served them as a wonderful educational resource.
The programme was compered by Arbind Tiwary, founder member of Yuva, Jamshedpur.
The welcome speech was delivered by Barnali Chakravorty. The vote of thanks was proposed by the treasurer of Yuva, Narendra Kumar.
A large number of Yuva members were present in the programme. The programme has inspired several from the Yuva members who are aiming at different competitive examinations, while also contributing as a voluntary member of Yuva, Jamshedpur.
